Two of the Isle of Wight’s most popular coastal hotels, Luccombe Hall Hotel and Luccombe Manor Country House Hotel, have been named finalists in the Beautiful South Awards for Excellence 2025, organised by Tourism South East.

Luccombe Hall is shortlisted for Small Hotel of the Year, while Luccombe Manor is a finalist for Dog Friendly Business of the Year.

The awards recognise tourism businesses across the region for outstanding guest experience, innovation, and hospitality. Winners will be announced on Monday 9 December 2025 at The Grand Hotel, Brighton.

Steven Wells, Director of Luccombe Hotels, said:

“We’re absolutely thrilled to see both hotels recognised.
"As a family-run business, we’ve invested heavily to create experiences that truly exceed expectations.
"This is a real testament to our incredible team.”

Over the past two years, the hotels have added new facilities rarely found in small, independent hotels, including a retro ‘Back to the 80s’ gaming arcade, a tropical indoor pool, and upgraded sea-facing rooms with private balconies, gardens, and hot tubs.

Luccombe Manor has also redefined dog-friendly stays, offering beds and blankets for pets, a dedicated dog-wash area, a prep kitchen for food and treats, and a secure doggy playground with agility equipment — designed to make holidays with dogs easier and more enjoyable for both pets and owners.

Director Clare Farrelly added:

“We’re incredibly proud of our team and the passion they bring.
"To see that recognised at a regional level is a huge honour.”

The Beautiful South Awards celebrate excellence and innovation in tourism and hospitality across the region, with hundreds of businesses judged on quality, sustainability, and visitor experience.
