Aspire Creative Hub is inviting young people to form, rehearse, and perform in a real band with the launch of its new Build a Band project in Shanklin.

The free event, taking place on Sunday 30th November from 1pm to 4pm, aims to honour those who have served in the Armed Forces.

Staff and customers at a Shanklin café were treated to an unusual surprise this week when a young grey seal pup hauled himself up onto the deck and settled down for a nap.
