A brand new Isle of Wight wrestling promotion will open its doors for the first-time this weekend.
Phoenix Pro Wrestling will touch down at Barton School in Newport for its very first ever show "The Fire Rises" on Saturday (April 27).
Featuring international, national and Island talent , the company was created by local wrestling royalty Luna Trix and Rudi Root with the aim of growing an already popular entertainment industry on the Island.
After wrestling across the UK for many different promotions, founders Luna and Rudi decided to pool all their knowledge and experience to start their own promotion.
In addition to the family friendly grappling, there will be a photobooth and food and drink available on the night.
Speaking ahead of the event, co-founder Luna Trix said:
"We are so excited to bring the next level of entertainment to the Isle of Wight, this is wresting remade and we can't wait for People of Phoenix (POP) to experience what we have planned!”
