Island Businesses Shortlisted For Hair And Beauty Awards

Two Isle of Wight businesses have been shortlisted as finalists in four categories at this year's UK Hair and Beauty Awards.

Bare Nailscessity and Hidden Beauty - based in East Cowes - and Arreton respectively - based beauty businessesare are vying for a combined four awards.

Bare Nailscessity is shortlisted for Best Gel Nails & Best New Talent, while Hidden Beauty has been named in Artist of The Year and Best for Brows.

Winners will be announced on June 1.

Chloe Camoccio, owner of Bare Nailscessity, said:

"Being shortlisted in two categories for prestigious awards like these is fantastic.

"The business has existed for less than two years and it has always been my drive to provide my clients with a high quality gel polish manicure.

"To be shortlisted in the Best New Talent category is very exciting!"

Emily Griffiths, owner of Hidden Beauty, commented:

"I'm very proud to have reached the final.

"Being able to provide clients with semi-permanent make-up really brings a lot of responsibility, which I love.

"My clients also love the results."

The annual VIP Red Carpet event includes celebrity guests, hosts and entertainment, and can be attended by invitation only.
