Help Supports Johns Club 100-Mile Walk This Week

A 100-mile walk in aid of Johns Club, for adults with learning disabilities and mental health, is taking place on Friday (April 12).

This helps provide services for the charity.

Johns Club has two football teams for people with learning disabilities and a hub that provides support for people with learning disabilities and mental health issues.

The centre also has a community centre, which is run by people with learning disabilities and mental health issues and a chilli shop that provides training to support people to help them to get into work.

The shop aims to aid their learning communication skills and guide them towards working in a shop to gain retail experience.

In addition, Johns Club provides day trips and holidays to the mainland and abroad.

The funds raised from this walk will all go directly to the charity's work going forward.

You can find out more and donate to the cause via the Go Fund Me page online.
