Keyworkers To Be Recognised In 'Thank You Fest' At Ryde's Smallbrook Stadium

An event celebrating the Isle of Wight and its keyworkers will be held at Smallbrook Stadium in August, by the organisers of Orchestral Ibiza.

Thank You Fest, which is supported by Isle of Wight Radio, will be held on Sunday, August 29 — the summer bank holiday weekend.

Tribute act Wannabe: The Spice Girls Show will headline at the event, recreating the era of girl power with a 60-minute live show of Spice Girl anthems. From chart stomping 'Spice Up Your Life' through to hip shaking 'Who Do You Think You Are?' Wannabe will take the audience on a Spice World journey with music from the group and their solo careers.

Thank You Fest will also feature a live stage show, kids area, bar, street food vendors and much more — making it the perfect bank holiday setting for the Island to get together and say a big thank you.

Organisers will restrict entries to just 3,000 tickets (approximately 60% of capacity) to allow for social distancing.

All key workers and their families will receive a special rate ticket price. From NHS, fire and police through to teachers, carers, transport, taxi drivers and retail workers.

Early bird tickets will also be available to the first 500 customers for just £10. Sign up at thankyoufest.co.uk to purchase yours.

The organisers are looking for local bands, acts and DJs to play at the event, so if you are a talented professional and have a set that will work for a mixed audience, then get in touch.
