Each business taking part will be donating a percentage of their profits to the Isle of Wight Foodbank and, what's more, there will also be a raffle drawn on the final night of market (December 2nd). All raffle ticket sales will also be going to the Foodbanks. There are almost 30 raffle prizes up for grabs, from Christmassy home decor items to vouchers and sweets and treats - something for everyone!
Businesses involved with the event include local sellers of produce and baked goods such as The Tomato Stall, Island Roasted, Wight Label Tea and the Isle of Wight Biscuit Co as well as independent creators, artists, jewellers and florists.

£1 for 1, £4 for 5 or £7 for 10!
Raffle prizes and stallholders are regularly revealed and introduced through the Instagram page @islesupportsmall and the Facebook page 'Isle Support Small and Local'.
This event hopes to raise awareness of the importance of shopping small and local this Christmas. Many small businesses have been incredibly hard hit by the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions and lockdowns. This has forced lots of them to create online presences and home delivery options very quickly. These businesses need our support now more than ever; they are an integral part of our Island community. This is also the case for the Isle of Wight Foodbanks, where need for food parcels is expected to rise by 61% this winter.
By shopping the market or purchasing raffle tickets, and through sharing on social media, you can help support Island communities and make sure everyone has access to a warm meal this Christmas!
