The popular Yarmouth Annual Duck Race and Easter Bonnet Competition is set to take place on Saturday 4th April along the River Yar.

Festivities kick off at 3.30pm with the Easter Bonnet Competition, followed by the duck races from 4pm.

Tickets for the duck race can be purchased at shops across Yarmouth, and residents can vote for the Local Business Duck Race and Best Dressed Duck via the event’s Instagram and Facebook pages.

The event is organised by the Yarmouth Carnival Committee, which encourages everyone to join in the fun and support the local community.

For more information, updates, and full event details, visit the Yarmouth Carnival Committee Facebook page here or check out the 2026 Carnival Yearbook, available in local Yarmouth businesses.

Other highlights in the yearbook include the Picnic on the Pier in July 2026 and a full list of upcoming local events.

This is a family-friendly event and a great way to celebrate Easter while supporting local traditions.
