A popular Isle of Wight bank holiday event is set to return next month, with Ticket to Ryde bringing two days of live music, food and family entertainment to the seafront.
The free mini-festival will take place on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 May at Eastern Gardens, running from 10am to 7pm each day.
Organised by Jack Up Events with support from Ryde Town Council, the event is now in its 12th year and has become a firm favourite on the Island’s events calendar.
Set just moments from Ryde’s beach, the festival will feature a packed line-up of local talent across the weekend.
Performers include Wight Hot Pipes, Taboo, Emellia, Greg & The Bears, The Amy Jolliffe Band, Pistol Knights, Side Hustle, It’s Not a Phase, Mom!, Double Take and Steve Love’s Island Songs, among others.
Over the years, Ticket to Ryde has grown into a major platform for showcasing Isle of Wight musicians, giving both established acts and emerging artists the chance to perform in front of large crowds.
Alongside the music, visitors can enjoy a wide range of food and drink, including a real ale bar from Island Ales, as well as hot food, sweet treats and locally-produced refreshments.
There will also be traditional market stalls, arts and crafts, and activities for children, including opportunities to create badges, keyrings and more.
Organisers say the event continues to bring together the community while supporting local charities, traders and creatives.
Entry is completely free, with no tickets required, making it an ideal way for families and visitors to enjoy a relaxed bank holiday weekend by the sea.
