MAD Scribblers Writers' and Illustrators' Cafe at the MAD-Aid DOT (Valentine's edition)

Co-host Kate will be demonstrating how experimenting with word banks can help to break that dreaded writers' block, while visitors are also encouraged to pick a love scene from the jar for an unusual writer's prompt, or scenario from which to illustrate a scene.

And for one week only, you can try your hand at penning a loved-up limerick, haunting haiku, or a romantic rhyme! (But you don't have to undertake the Valentine's activities if you don't want too!)

MAD Scribblers Writers' and Illustrators' Cafe is held every Wednesday, between 5.30pm and 7.30pm at the MAD-Aid DOT community room at 11 York Avenue, East Cowes, and admission is FREE. For the Valentine's Day session, you are welcome to drop in any time.

There are hot and cold drinks and cakes for sale during MAD Scribblers sessions, as well as the second-hand bookstall, where books are for sale by donation. All proceeds go to East Cowes-based charity MAD-Aid.
