YOUNG PEOPLE IN ISLE OF WIGHT YOUTH ELECTIONS

Voting gets underway on Monday, for the Isle of Wight Youth Council and the Isle of Wight's member of the UK Youth Parliament.

There are 24 seats available on the Youth Council, but there can only be one member of the UK Youth Parliament and 10 young people are in the running. Voting continues until 28 November, in all high schools, Ryde School, the Isle of Wight College and at Newport’s Connexions Centre. IW Council Leader David Pugh will announce the results in the Council Chamber on 4 December.
