The cross-Solent operator Wightlink is unveiling its newest addition to its fleet with two open days. The Wight Light is the first of three much larger boats which the firm hopes will sail between Yarmouth and Lymington.
As sea trails continue, the vessel’s throwing open its doors for guided tours, including to the engine room and bridge. The open days are being held today and tomorrow. If you’re travelling from the Island, you can travel for a special £2 return (see Wightlink’s website for a voucher).
