The battle of the bands, called Wight Noize 2008, is underway in Ryde.
The annual music industry showcase gives young Island bands the chance to play at the Isle of Wight Festival, which takes place at Seaclose Park in June. Wight Noize is being held at Ryde Theatre on Sunday.
