WHIPPINGHAM COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION

Whippingham Community Association is a charity which is completely independent of the Parish Council and has managed the Community Hall for over 20 years.

The Hall was built by Sam Saunders of Saunders Roe and given to the people of Whippingham for holding Village events.

To this day a host of activities take place: band practice and drama workshops for young people, keep fit and Weight Watchers, tea dances, and whist drives for other members of the community. Members of the Association work voluntarily to benefit the community and neighbourhood.

In these changing times, do you think it is important to keep a facility such as a Community Centre in the village and provide for the changing needs of future generations whilst still retaining the character of Whippingham?
The Community Association aim to carry out these objectives and your contribution would be most appreciated.

To learn more come along on to the meeting at the Whippingham Community Hall on Thursday 9th July at 7.30 pm. Tea and Coffee will be available along with a big welcome!
