The organisers of the 2006 Isle of Wight Walking Festival Speed Dating Walk are celebrating their first weddings. Two couples have already tied the knot after taking part in the event, with a third wedding to follow in 2009.
Islanders Phillipa and Eric and Karen and Paul have said their “I dos” and Surrey pair Lorraine and Colin are soon to follow suit. The 2008 Isle of Wight speed-dating walk will take place on Sunday 4 May. It is a circular, 4-mile/3-hour walk, starting and finishing at the Fisherman’s Cottage pub in Luccombe Bay.
