Former Isle of Wight Councillor Brenda Lawson has died.
She was 65 and had been battling cancer. Isle of Wight Council Chairman, Councillor Arthur Taylor said "My council colleagues and I are saddened by the news… Brenda was a dedicated servant to her local community and indeed the Island during her time with Isle of Wight Council, and more recently in her role on Ventnor Town Council."
