TREES DOWN AND FLOODING IN TORRENTIAL RAIN

Heavy rain and winds of up to 70mph have been causing problems on the Isle of Wight.

Trees have fallen in Yaverland, Ashey, Newport, Totland and Ventnor and there's been flooding in Rookley, Sandown, East Cowes, Shanklin, Newport, Yarmouth, Godshill and Ashey.  You can report problems on the road directly to the Highways Department on 01983 823777. The bad weather's expected to last until at least 3pm.
