On Sunday 12th July the Earl Mountbatten Hospice is holding its third annual Classic Car Run, raising money for the hospice.
It’s an opportunity for the Island’s classic and vintage vehicle’s owners to go on a run right across the island, as well as for island residents to come and view these vehicles in all their glory, whilst helping support the hospice.
The route remains secret until the day, taking the drivers round the island taking in our most beautiful views. These classic and vintage vehicles will begin the run from Osborne House where they’ll receive a copy of the route.
The cars will be on display at the Needle’s Park from and Brown’s Café on Sandown Seafront where visitors can come and view the cars and make donations if they wish, whilst the driver’s stop for a buffet lunch.
The event is supported by Isle of Wight Radio who will be providing coverage in the morning when the vehicles assemble at Osborne House at 9.30am for a 10am start.
If you own a classic car and would like to take part, entry is £10 per car, and drivers coming from the mainland can receive a discount of 20% on the day, call fundraising for the promotional code.
