A Newport rower is celebrating after winning silver in the C.R.A.S.H.-B World Indoor Rowing Championships.
65-year-old Roger Prowse beat stiff competition from across the globe. Among almost 2000 competitors there were World and Olympic medallists, racing 2,000 metres against the clock and each other. Roger trains and rows for the Isle of Wight College.
