SEARCH FOR MINI SEWING MACHINE

A rare sewing machine has been stolen from a shop in Shanklin.

The minature Wilcox and Gibbs model was taken from the window display at the The Stitches Coven, in Shanklin High Street.  It happened between 5pm on January 6 and 6.30am on January 7.  It’s 12 inches long, 6 inches wide and 8 inches high and is a collectors’ item.  Island police are appealing for information.
