New President of the Lion Club of Ryde, Marsha Couture.
On Tuesday 23rd June the Lions Club of Ryde appointed a new president.
Marsha Couture was welcomed as the club’s new president for the coming year. She is only the second lady president in the history of the club and the first Canadian.
Marsha takes over from the out going president John Smith who provided great leadership and directed Ryde Lions to collect almost £5,000 for the local area of Ryde and the Isle of Wight.
The new president has guaranteed to compliment John’s input and has pledged to enlist new members to the club in the coming year. Marsha has already brought new ideas to Ryde Lions and with the support and enthusiasm of the members hopes to bring the club forward to new heights in 2010.
