Two parish magazines from the Isle of Wight have been named among the most improved in Portsmouth’s Anglican diocese.
The Bridge (from St Edmund’s and St Mark’s Churches in Wootton) took second place in the diocese’s Most Improved Parish Magazine contest. Connections (from Niton and Whitwell) took third place. Their editors were presented with prizes by the Anglican Bishop of Portsmouth, the Rt Rev Kenneth Stevenson, after a special Evensong service at Portsmouth Cathedral earlier this month. A Gosport publication took first prize.
