Getting crafty at a workshop for Sandown Carnival.
The queens have been chosen and the float has been built. Within three weeks, the streets of Sandown will be dancing to the carnival beat.
This year’s processions are set to be bigger and better than ever. Organisers are hoping the 2008 season will be drier than 2007! The Children’s Parade takes place on 29 July and the Main Procession is on 30 July, starting at 7pm, from Culver Parade. Visit the Beacon Online next month for more details.
