The Island’s sexual health services have been praised by the Department of Health.
Following a recent visit, the service has been highlighted as an example of best practice for other Primary Care Trusts. Head of the Sexual Health National Support Team Jane Mezzone said, “What really impressed us was the use of an almost total nurse led service, with excellent relationships, good communication and a willingness to work across provision including commissioning, public health and health promotion, the team are to be highly commended for their work and for their achievements.”
