PARISH ELECTIONS TO TAKE PLACE ON ISLAND

As local elections sweep across the county on 1 May, people living in Ryde and Newport will be heading to the polls to create their new parish councils. 

Polls aren’t taking place in Northwood and Whippingham, as the elections there are uncontested.  If you have a polling card, you will be able to vote between 7am and 10pm. on A count will be conducted the following morning, from 10am.
