Miller Homes has been appointed to deliver a new housing development at Pan. More than 1000 energy efficient homes, 240 of them affordable housing for Islanders, are planned.
The scheme could also include a Biomass plant, delivering heating and hot water to the entire development. Following the recent decision by David Wilson Homes to pull out of the scheme to regenerate East Cowes, the IW Council says the agreement has been scrutinised by renowned property experts Knight Frank, who have concluded the terms offered by Miller Homes were the best that could be achieved in the current difficult market conditions. It is thought the first homes may be available in 2010.
