It's hoped young families will benefit from a new facility in Cowes.
The Cowes Children Centre is based at Love Lane Primary School and will be officially opened on 1 May. The building has a playroom and parent's room, kitchen, office space and an outside play area. A number of sessions and workshops will be held there, including stopping smoking, childminder drop-in sessions, parenting support groups, first aid courses and cooking on a budget. Thursday will also be an open day.
