On 9 May, Newport Quay will host an illusionist and urban artist as they perform a dramatic stunt.
Aaron Isted will try to escape from a trunk (suspended by a burning rope, above solid steel spikes) while artist Tony Trowbridge completes a full size painting of the illusionist. The performance will raise money for the Earl Mountbatten Hospice and the Barely Born Appeal, to mark the launch of the Isle of Wight Walking Festival.
