NEW YOUTH POLITICIANS NAMED

2498 votes were cast in the Isle of Wight’s Youth Council elections and there were 1786 votes in the election for the Member of the UK Youth Parliament.  It was a record, leading to 24 filled seats on the Youth Council and a new Youth Mp.

Charlie Ringer, Harvey Dobson, Emma Winchcombe, Ben Yates, Lucy Fordham, Adi Volney, Bill Holland and Scott Goodhew, Jack Cavanagh-Hodson, Jon Smith, Tyne Samuels, Greg Hammond, Rachael Millward, Arthur Halsey and Chris Cotton, Leyla Hamroush, Rachel Boswell, Daniel Clarke, Lewis Grant, Jasmine Callan and Idris Hamroush, Liv Clarke, Hebe Gregory and James Dunn were all successful and will represent wards across the Island.  Scott Goodhew is the new Youth MP
