Newport is one of the towns that has benefited.
Town centre managers will be appointed Islandwide, following an announcement at the recent Power to the Parishes conference.
It follows positive feedback from residents and town councils, according to the Isle of Wight Council. Under the new plans, the Island will be divided into 12 neighbourhoods with a member of staff assigned to each. It is hoped the new extended service will be up and running by December.
