Government cash for nine new vehicles is rewarding the Island’s ambulance service for outstanding performance.
Two all-wheel drive rapid response vehicles have already been handed over to the Primary Care Trust, while four front-line ambulances, a rapid response vehicle and two high dependence vehicles are also expected. The Island’s ambulance service is the only one in the country to have met Government performance and response times targets.
