The Isle of Wight Youth Trust is celebrating 25 years of helping young people on the Island.
It is a registered charity which provides free counselling to young people with relationship problems, who self harm, who are anxious or depressed, are suicidal or who just need a listening ear. It also provides Welfare Services at the annual Bestival at Robin Hill. This year, it’s launched a fundraising drive, including a Fabulous Charity Fun-Raiser gig, on 14 March 2009 at Ryde Theatre. Bestival organiser DJ Rob da Bank is working with the organisation and will be among those to perform, alongside bands The Dub Pistols, The Hat and others.
