MURAL WILL BRIGHTEN UP COWES EYESORE

It is hoped a new mural will help hide the wreck of a Grade Two listed building in the heart of Cowes High Street.

The former Three Crowns public house collapsed during building work in 2002 and has been left derelict since then. The pub was built in 1425. Now its façade will be covered by a bright new mural showing Cowes’ history.  Students from Cowes High School are behind the artwork, which will be unveiled on Thursday.
