The annual Lights of Love ceremony at the Island’s crematorium takes place, today .
Hymns, readings, prayers and music from the Nautical Notes Choir and soloist Christine James make up the service, which starts at 7pm. Members of the congregation will then have the opportunity to light a candle in memory of a loved one, before gathering round the Christmas tree for a carol. A collection will also be held to raise money for the Earl Mountbatten Hospice.
