Taxi fares are going up on the Isle of Wight, from 31 March.
Members of Isle of Wight Council's Licensing and General Purposes Committee have voted to accept an increase. The decision follows a month long consultation. It is the first rise in maximum taxi fares on the Island since April 2004.
