Food and clean drinking water are among the supplies being donated to the earthquake-hit Caribbean island of Haiti, by the Isle of Wight Lions Clubs.
The organisation says that’s thanks to the generosity of local people. Public Relations Officer, Barrie Jehan, says “We are in contact with Lions clubs on the island of Haiti to assess the situation and determine immediate relief needs. Our local clubs on the Island (Ryde Lions, Sandown & Shanklin, Cowes/Newport and Ventnor) have added [to the international relief effort].”
