IOW 3- HAVANT SCHOOLS 0

The Isle of Wight boys played great football but made the spectators nervous wrecks with all three of the goals coming in extra time.

Full time left the sides level and goaless. After a nervous start to extra time, with Havant claiming an early corner, Phil Read finally hit the back of the net with a fine goal. Havant came straight back and tested keeper Moseley who put a great save to keep the Islanders ahead.

The second half of extra time saw the Isle of Wight finally take command and with renewed confidence, James Fretwell took the ball the length of the pitch, setting up Rai Higgins for a shot that he put over the bar. Finally, Higgins put his name on the score sheet and just for good measure also set up Phil Read for his second.

Final score; Isle of Wight 3; Havant 0. This puts the Island side into the semi-finals against Southampton.
