Sunday's sailing proved more successful.
When Bembridge Harbour froze at the weekend, a fleet of 10 Illusion sailors found themselves dealing with conditions usually faced by the Vendee Globe adventurers in the Southern Ocean.
But when two competitors were carried off by a moving ice field, Saturday’s race had to be abandoned. Things got back to normal on Sunday for the Bembridge Sailing Club event.
