The Coronas are one of the best Irish bands to emerge in the past five years and this was proved to be the case at this year’s 10th Anniversary Meteor Music Awards as the band were up against stiff competition and won ‘Best Album’. They play the Main Stage on Sunday. Their first release, ‘Heroes Or Ghosts’ entered the charts through virtual word of mouth and the band have gone from strength to strength since then with their second album, ‘Tony Was An Ex-Con.’
