HELP SHAPE DEMENTIA SERVICES ON THE ISLAND

Islanders are being asked to share their views on how Dementia Services are developed on the Island.

Service users, carers and their families on the Island are invited to attend an informal drop-in session today, between 10am – 4pm at the Riverside Centre, Newport.  It is an opportunity to discuss how services for people with dementia, who need specialist care or intensive treatment, can be improved to ensure the service is delivered in a more personalised way.  There are approximately 2,000 people with Dementia on the Island and around 100 people are referred to the Dementia Service every month.
