A group of senior health and social care managers from Tuscany have been visiting the Island, to learn more about health services here.
The 3-day event involved chief executives, chief financial officers, chief social services officers and members of the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna Institute in Tuscany. Director of Public Health and IOW Chief Medical Advisor Dr Jenifer Smith hosted the delegation’s visit, which included tours of St. Mary’s Hospital, Cowes Health Centre and prison healthcare facilities.
