HAVE YOUR SAY ON HEALTHCARE

It’s being billed as a new initiative to give Islanders more of a say in how local health services are run.

The Bournemouth based group delivering the Government’s Local Involvement Network (LINk) on the Isle of Wight are creating a network of local people who’ll listen to how residents feel about health and social care services.  The comments and criticisms will be fed back to those who run the services.  Information events are to be held on 17 February 2009 at the Riverside Centre in Newport and on 18 February at the Ryde Castle Hotel on Ryde Esplanade, from 9:30am until 3:30pm.  Visit www.makesachange.org.uk for more information.
