Yarmouth Pier will reopen at 11am on 26 April, after extensive refurbishment to shore up the 1876 structure.
The work was carried out to stop gribbleworms eating away at the wood. Patron of the Yarmouth Harbour Pier Appeal, Alan Titchmarsh, will cut the ribbon on Saturday. A weekend of events, including music, pier memories and a firework spectacular (on Saturday at 9pm) is planned. The pier has been closed since 3 December.
