A £2.66m contract will deliver rural development and economic benefits to the Isle of Wight, while supporting more than 200 local project.
It is European funding aimed at supporting farmers, foresters, growers, rural businesses and rural communities. Grants of up to £50,000 could be handed out under the scheme, until 2013.
