It takes green travel to a whole new level. A group of Bestival-goers are planning to swim across the Solent, to the Robin Hill music festival next month, for the second year running.
Called Hularama, the group of twelve are planning to raise money for three charities – the Gosport branch of the Chernobyl Children’s Life Line; the Island Youth Water Activities Centre (IOW) Ltd.; and a voluntary organisation run for the benefit of all young people on the Isle of Wight and Imibala in Africa. They’ll leave from Stokes Bay in Gosport and will be in the water for between 2 and 5 hours, emerging at Ryde Pier.
