Nearly seventy people are invited to attend an information evening, to learn more about fostering children on the Isle of Wight.
It is thanks to a recruitment drive which was carried out during Fostering Fortnight. Manager of the Isle of Wight Council's Fostering Service, Dave Crewe, said "I have been overwhelmed by the amount of people who came to us during Fostering Fortnight…As a result of the event, it will undoubtedly mean several looked after children may soon have a family around them, and that is the biggest success of them all."
