The Isle of Wight Council’s supporting British Armed Forces Day with a special flag-raising ceremony at County Hall in Newport, on 21 June.
Meanwhile, Armed Forces Day takes place on 26 June. At Appley Park and Beach near Ryde, there will be military vehicles, veterans and cadet parades, sea rescue displays and music throughout the day, culminating in Proms in the Park and fireworks.
