Ryde East Community Association’s celebrating the return of “Britain’s First Lady of Folk”, Julie Felix, to the Isle of Wight.
As the first solo folk artist to be signed to a major British record company, her career has spanned four decades. She has campaigned tirelessly against war and for Human Rights throughout her career and she celebrates in her own inimitable style at Acoustics at the Altar, on 12 September 2008. Tickets are £12.50 and all the profits will be donated to charity.
