IW Council HQ, Newport.
The next phase of consultation over the future of education on the Isle of Wight is underway.
The first of eight meetings were held on Monday, for teachers, pre-school leaders and governers. On 19 March, the IW Council agreed a new two-tier educational structure, to be phased in from September 2010. A report on the next phase of the council's reorganisation plans will be presented to the Cabinet on 3 June, followed by formal public consultation. You’ll be able to read the report for yourself on the IW Council’s website, iwight.com, from 23 May.
