DON'T BE CAUGHT OUT BY TV SWITCH

If you still watch television via an aerial on your roof, work on the Isle of Wight's Rowridge transmitter could affect you from next month.

As part of preparation for switchover to Digital TV (which will take place in 2012 for the local area), some services on the Rowridge transmitter will be switched off on 25 March. Viewers will no longer be able to watch Channel 5 without Digital TV.  Meanwhile, Freeview, Top Up TV or BT Vision viewers will need to retune their equipment.  Satellite and cable viewers are unaffected.
